We all are responsible to help others in need. Hosanna! takes the Bible to heart and partners with dozens of other ministry organizations to impact both our surrounding community and the world in Christian love and support. Jesus Himself said that He came to serve others, not to be served. We can do nothing less. For a list of many of our ministry partners and links to their websites, click here.
Hosanna! has won awards for our various community service efforts - and we welcome you to participate! There are one-time special serving projects, ongoing service efforts and international initiatives taking place year-round. If you need more details on anything listed on this page, contact the church office at 630-584-6434 or drop an email to
On March 15, 22, 29 and April 5, from about 7:30 - 8:00 pm, we will gather in the Narthex to share some fun and fellowship while working together to serve a variety of ministry projects. Below is a list of the serving opportunities that remain and the items needed to help support them. If you are able, please bring what you can (look for the collection boxes in the Narthex) and plan to stay for a few minutes following worship as we serve Jesus by serving one another.
Thanks for your help in putting together these gift bags!
Thank you for helping!
In 2016, the Hosanna! Food Pantry ministry provided 1,325 pre-packed bags of groceries to our neighbors in need of a helping hand. This ministry provides guests with food to nourish them physically and Christian encouragement to feed them spiritually.
What to bring:
Together, we will pack 80 Easter food bags (to be distributed along with our regular food bags) to our Food Pantry guests. Project Coordinator: Scott & Sue Jaeger
Join with your brothers and sisters in Christ and help Hosanna!’s Children & Family Ministries Team prepare for our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15th at 10:00 am. Children (accompanied by an adult) will gather for music, a story, crafts, and of course, an Easter Egg Hunt!
What to bring:
Stay for a few minutes after worship and help fill plastic eggs with candy and prizes for the kids to find on Saturday, April 15th at 10:00 am. Project Coordinator: Lynette Anderson

Hosanna! has a food pantry that is available for those who are in emergency need of food. The Food Pantry is open to families and individuals on the first and third Mondays of the month from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm and also the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. (Food Pantry times are subject to change without prior notice, for example in cases of holidays, emergencies, church-related events, etc.)
Those in need have to stop at the food pantry entrance and register with a Hosanna! volunteer, present a valid photo ID, sign in, and receive 2 bags of groceries from the pantry every 4 weeks.
We thank the increasing number of scout troops, service organizations and individual families who are helping to keep our pantry shelves stocked on a weekly or 1-time basis ... you are making a difference with your contributions!
Donations of these suggested non-perishable items are welcomed weekdays (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) and weekends (during church service hours):
Thank you for supporting this much-needed ministry!
On the first Friday of each month, Hosanna! volunteers minister to the homeless and hungry in our community by preparing food, serving dinner, and providing an overnight volunteer to assist the staff at Lazarus House, 214 Walnut Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Add your name to the sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center in the Narthex, or contact the church office with any questions if you can help with any of these monthly needs:

Hosanna! is actively involved in some very exciting and dynamic international efforts sharing the love of Jesus with others around the world!
Thanks to everyone for their support in the "Mission: Possible" effort! Contributions toward helping the children of this minstry are accepted at any time.
