Serving Opportunities

We all are responsible to help others in need.  Hosanna! takes the Bible to heart and partners with dozens of other ministry organizations to impact both our surrounding community and the world in Christian love and support.  Jesus Himself said that He came to serve others, not to be served.  We can do nothing less. 

Hosanna! has won awards for our various community service efforts - and we welcome you to participate! There are one-time special serving projects, ongoing service efforts and international initiatives taking place year-round. Special Serving Opportunities   

School Supply Giveaway - There are numerous opportunities to help with our annual School Supply Giveaway.  Call the church office (630-584-6434) or stop by to sign up to help.

Supply and book donations can be dropped off at the church now through Sunday, July 30th.  Please donate any of the following: 

2 pocket folders                  Spiral notebooks, wide or college rule

Rulers                                Scissors (Rounded and/or Pointed)

Wide tip markers                Fine tip markers

Crayons (24 count)             Glue Sticks (2 pack preferred)

No 2 Pencils                        Colored Pencils

Highlighters                        Pens (Red, Black or Blue ink)

New or gently used books grade K-12


Feed My Starving Children - Thanks to everyone who signed up to attend the July packing event.  The next open packing event at the Aurora facility will be August 17 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm.  Visit the church for more information.

Hosanna! Food Pantry Donations

Hosanna! has a food pantry that is available for those who are in emergency need of food.  Donations of these suggested non-perishable items are welcomed weekdays (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) and weekends (during church service hours):

  • Canned goods (fruits, vegetables, chicken, tuna, soup, beef stew, spaghettios, chili)
  • Pasta/starches (noodles, spaghetti, rice, macaroni & cheese)
  • Miscellaneous (breakfast cereal, oatmeal, applesauce, pasta sauce, peanut butter)
  • Baby items (dry baby food or baby food in jars, diapers any size)
  • Toilet tissue  
  • Standard quantities preferred (please, no supersized items).
