Caring Ministries

God’s people serve both Him and others by approaching Him in prayer, seeking His plans and intervention and then offering our own humble service to help each other get through the ups and downs of life with Christian caring.

"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." - Galatians 6:2

The Hosanna! Food Pantry

On the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, our Food Pantry is open from 10:00am - 1:00pm. Contact the church office if you have any questions at  or 630-584-6434.

Hosanna! is Here to Help

Everyone goes through rough patches in life. Everyone has big questions from time to time. Hosanna! is here to offer a listening ear and share the journey with you. Offering assistance from trained ministers for young children, middle school, high school, young adults, adults, and whole families; confidential one-on-one talks or group discussions / study sessions are available. Remember: no one is ever alone.

Care During Difficult Times

Hosanna! is responding to requests from you and offering the following opportunities for help - available to anyone who can benefit from the assistance and there is no cost for any program. For any questions, contact the church office at 630-584-6434 or via email to   Note: pre-registration is required for some of the programs as we have to acquire program materials in advance.

Have a Prayer Request?

Hosanna! offers a variety of opportunities to connect with God through prayer.

Hosanna! is taking online prayer requests! Click here and fill out the form and submit to let us know how we can pray for you.  Otherwise, please write it on a yellow prayer card (as found in the Worship Space seat backs) and drop it in the offering plate. These requests are printed in the next week's worship bulletins.

If you have a confidential prayer request, please write it on a prayer card, write the word CONFIDENTIAL on it, and place it in the offering plate. Also, if you have a prayer request that you would like placed on our confidential Prayer Chain, see below.

Prayer Chain Ministry

The Hosanna! Prayer Chain is an active group of “pray-ers” who faithfully lift up the prayers of those in our congregation and beyond. Prayer requests received are distributed to the Prayer Chain by e-mail and these requests are prayed for until an update is received.

This confidential ministry differs from our yellow prayer cards and Prayer Board in that prayer requests designated specifically for the Prayer Chain are not published in the bulletin (unless you request it).

If you have a prayer request you would like put on the Prayer Chain, please contact the church office or fill out our online Prayer Request form

"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

In the Hospital?

Please help us to care for you and your family by letting the church office know when a loved one has been hospitalized. HIPAA legislation prohibits the hospitals from contacting us directly, so often times we do not find out until much later that someone from the Hosanna! family was in the hospital.

If you or a member of your family is hospitalized, please contact the church office.

Need a Listening Ear?

Our congregation has a trained group of individuals, Stephen Ministers, who are available to provide confidential, one-on-one, male-to-male, female-to-female Christian care giving. Whether your problems are big or small, there is someone in our congregation who is ready to listen to you and provide care. Call the church office and we will put you in contact with one of the Stephen Ministry Leaders.

We also have an active Care Callers ministry. Care Callers place a phone call or make a brief visit with someone who is coming home from the hospital, recovering from illness or injury, grieving a loss in their life, or going through some other difficulty. For more information on our Care Callers Ministry, contact the church office to be put in touch with our Care Callers ministry coordinator.
