The Author of life has created us to live in community with one another. Some argue that they can worship on their own, say a prayer while they walk through the woods, or have a cross somewhere in there house and that makes them a believer. But the Eternal One has made us to be together, to be in a community of believers, to give and receive encouragement from one another, and to grow in His holy love. In the 2nd chapter of book of Acts (in the New Testament of the Bible) it tells us how we are to live together in spiritual community as we care for one another and together praise God's holy name.
There is a lot of loneliness amongst the busy-ness in the world today... why not find a place where you will be spiritually fed and can make life long friends? Tired of judgmental, hypocritical, demeaning people... why not come to a safe, loving environment where you're accepted for who you are but challenged to be all you can be. Looking beyond the regular day-to-day activities for ways to make a difference in the world... why not be a part of a family that continually finds ways to help others in our community, and around the world. Check out Hosanna!.
Jesus said in the New Testament book of John that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the path to get to know God the Father. He is the One who died on a cross to take away our sins. He is the One who rose from the grave to lead us through this life to our eternal home. Not only has He given us much already, He has promised much to those who believe in Him. Jesus is the answer and He is inviting us to have a significant relationship with Him as He cares for us each and every day. There is so much mystery in life, let us be certain of the One who is there for us.
Who comes to Hosanna!? All sorts of people... well-off and struggling; people with kids in the house and those without; single and married; people who want things for themselves and people who want things for their family; young and forever-young; those with a lot of religious background, people with a little church experience, and no exposure to Christianity at all; Lutherans and non-Lutherans. Together we come to grow in faith, serve others, be a part of a faith family worshiping God - sharing the journey through this one and only earthly life.
Hosanna! has a place for you. Come as you are, everyone is welcome... and as we say around here, the best is yet to come! We ask that you give Hosanna! a try. But whether with us or at another Christian church, we pray that your life is filled with love, hope, joy and that you continue to grow closer to our amazing God through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
The peace of our Lord be with you,
John Nelson, Senior Pastor
