Support Groups

Cancer Prayer and Support Group: This group gathers to pray for and support anyone with cancer. They stress prayer as that is a source of strength and hope and support as it is invaluable to those who are newly diagnosed, are in treatment, or finished with treatment. They would consider it a blessing to pray for and support anyone who is involved in this journey called cancer. Contact Patti Wheeler or Beth Lugo if interested in learning more.

Grief Support Group:  This group is open to those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The participants gather to share feelings and common experiences and also to support and pray for one another. Contact Pastor Martha Nelson through the church office.

Pastor Martha Nelson will be leading this one-evening session about handling the holidays with HOPE on Monday, December 4 at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room at Hosanna!. If you are experiencing grief and would like to learn some coping skills as you face the upcoming holiday season, please contact the church office to sign up.

Women’s Survivors of Sexual Abuse Support Group: This group is open to women who are currently or have in the past been sexually abused. It could be a one-time occurrence or have happened multiple times. They meet to offer support, do book studies, listen to occasional speakers, and pray for one another. If this group would benefit you or someone you know, please contact Pastor John in confidence.
